Speaking

Based on vignettes in her book Tiger on the Landing, Imagination Matters, Judith Lavender speaks to groups, organizations and businesses about how her early childhood experiences laid the foundation for her imagination to develop.

Her light-hearted and entertaining presentation (ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour) shares insight into the development of her own creativity in childhood, where she grew up the fourth of eight children in small town New Mexico. She and her husband raised two children who became highly successful film and television writers and producers who entertain worldwide audiences with their own creativity every day.

Embedded in each vignette are aspects of early child development. Audiences will connect:

  • How their own experiences shaped their imaginations

  • How early childhood experiences impact a child’s development

  • How play develops open-ended, imaginative thinking in children

  • How purposeful and intentional interactions with children foster creativity

Presentations include the opportunity for audience members to have Tiger on the Landing signed by the author, plus FREE take-away early childhood development brochures.

Judith is an experienced presenter, addressing both large and small groups, professionals and others. An expert in early childhood development, her audiences include educational and professional associations, teacher groups, non-profit and private organizations.
